My Philosophy


Satisfy body so your body will satisfy you!

It is Psychology 101 - If you want to get someone to do something for you, the best thing to do is to listen to their needs and give them what they want. Similarly, if you want your body to lose weight, you listen and satisfy your body's needs, then and only then will your body start listening to what you want!

In our sessions, I will teach you about body signals so you know how to provide it with just what it needs without sacrificing the pounds. I will fully equip you with practical nutritional knowledge and relevant statistics to help you make better choice. Every meal is a decision - whether you know it or not - what you eat is a result of a conversation you have with yourself. "Do I want to sit down to eat or should i grab something quick?" "Do I want soemthing cold like a sandwich or do i want a hot soup with bread?" "How hungry am I?" "Do i want something bland and healthy or something flavorful that I might regret later?"

That is why we explore your thinking process so that we can eventually establish a self-dialogue that satisfy both your bodily desires and your weight goals. I will not give you a diet menu to follow. There is a reason why you are eating the way you are now - because you enjoy it! I absolutely will not take that away from you, otherwise i will be acting against my own philosophy. But I will provide you with smart modifications and exposed you to many similar options that you could try for yourself. I will not force you to do anything. I will explore your reasons and give you all the facts, but YOU make the final decision on how to creatively satisfy your own needs. You will find out in my program that you don't have to sacrifice fun and taste to lose weight. It is just a matter of balance and being able to look at the big picture. Life coaching will get down to everything that truly matters to you so that you can find the motivation to make the changes that you need to form a lifestyle that is unique to you and supports permanent weight loss.

This Weight Loss Self Guide is a work-in-progress project for me, and is very much in its infancy. To promote healthy weight loss through proper thinking, eating, and exercising, I have created this Self Guide to help ANYONE (not just my clients) who visits my website to lose weight healthily and permanently on their own. "Our binger, on the other hand, who is constantly on a diet, will eat sparingly at her evening meal, preparing grilled fish with steamed broccoli and carrots and avoiding the mashed potato she serves to her partner and children. She too may serve apple pie for dessert, but only to the other members of the family. Unfortunately, one of her children may leave the crust of his pie and she absent-mindedly pops this into her mouth. This activates the need for more of the same and she will quickly finish the rest of the pie, then nibble on biscuits while clearing up. Later, preparing the children�s lunch boxes for the following day, she will open a five-pack of chocolate biscuits, put one into each box and eat the remaining three. Now into full binge-mode, she will continue eating for the whole evening, often indulging in weird food combinations like spooning lemon curd and muesli into a tin of condensed milk and eating it out of the tin with a teaspoon (as you do). She will do this stealthily, keeping an eye on the door in case anyone should come in and see her. She knows why she is fat and tells herself she will start her diet again tomorrow" More..


As the chart below will show you, picking the right cooking oil can make a world of difference in you and your family's health!

Orange = Neutral fat
Yellow = Good fat

Considering its health impact and cost, it is apparent that canola, corn, olive, and peanut oil has the best value. And if I have to pick between these four, looking at the below chart, canola and olive will further win my support.

We use oil in our cooking and baking everyday, so it is important that we consistently use good oil to keep our cholesterol level in check. Bad fat keeps cholesterol in our blood streams. Too much cholesterol will block our blood vessels, leading to heart attacks and strokes. Heart disease is the #1 killer in developed countries and it is often a silent killer without symptoms or warnings.
